    We start early to make the most of this spectacular day. Our adventure begins along the scenic RN1 road.
    • Arta Viewpoint: Pause for panoramic views of the Gulf of Tadjourah.
    • Wé’a Village: A quick stop to stretch your legs and pick up some local snacks.
    • The Grand Barra & Petit Barra: We traverse the immense, flat expanses of these ancient dried lakes. Your driver will take a thrilling shortcut directly across the hard-packed desert floor.
    We arrive in the crossroads town of Dikhil for a brief rest before leaving the asphalt behind.
    • Off-Roading through the Gobaad: We head off-road for an 80 km journey across the rugged plains. Keep your camera ready as we spot native East African wildlife, including ostriches, Thomson’s gazelles, and the rare gerenuk (giraffe gazelle).
